my twin and I went in for our first tattoos we had Koop as our artist and he was absolutely amazing!! Talked us through every step kept the conversation going had some laughs and the tattoos turned out better than we imagined! I especially appreciate that when we told him my sister is epileptic it didn’t lessen his confidence one bit. He reassured her and everything went amazingly! Definitely recommend !! And thank you to all the staff they were all awesome!

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly faces (Tee & Lauren) & immediately felt welcomed. Lauren is extremely talented, and went above and beyond in all aspects. She happily offered ideas she thought I’d like (which I most certainly did) & she even fixed up some questionable tattoos from the past. There is a deep sense of community and respect within this space, which is rare in my past experience! Five stars all around, I feel very lucky to have found such an amazing studio- with such incredible humans. Cant wait for my next appointment 😄 Thank you Wanderlust!!!

Everyone we had contact with at Wanderlust were so welcoming and friendly, and the shop is in a cute area with ample parking. Junior artist Koop is an absolute treasure!!!!!!! My sister and I will be repeat customers, for sure - and with me saving all of my future tattoo plans for when I visit from Ontario. 100% recommend this wonderful place.

Easily one of the very best tattoo spots in BC! I’ve been tattooed by Aylin and Lauren before and both are so warm and kind to work with, I’m usually having such a nice time when I’m there getting work done that I hardly realize much that I’m getting tattooed lol. Tee as well is amazing! Super professional, kind, clean shop, and welcoming, 10/10 for sure. 🙂

I had such a great experience from start to finish. Even though my tattoo was a fairly simple design, the artist, Mikel, really took the time to listen to what I was trying to decide on and helped me thoughtfully finalize it. He was intuitive, patient, and genuinely collaborative — I never felt rushed or dismissed. Beyond the technical skill, the whole session felt relaxed and comfortable. He was funny, kind, and very tuned in, which made a huge difference and turned what could have been a nerve-wracking appointment into a really positive experience. I absolutely love how the tattoo turned out and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly listens and cares about the process as much as the final result.

My friends and I wanted to get BFF tattoos. We reached out to Wanderlust as we were going to be in the Parksville area from Victoria. Tee was awesome to work with to get us a time that worked with our other plans and we booked in with Koop who is an apprentice artist. We sent our ideas up ahead of time and he was ready to go when we arrived. He was diligent in his hygiene between the three of us, cutting absolutely no corners at all. We all felt so safe and well taken care of the entire time. Not only does he do excellent work, he is the sweetest young man to spend a few hours with! The shop is beautiful and clean and felt very safe and welcoming. It would be a great place for a first tattoo for someone considering getting work done. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say. Quality tattoos, great communication, a bit of shop banter. Overall a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Mark has done two tattoos for me now and I'm thoroughly impressed with his ability and time management. You're the man! See you again soon 🤘

I will be back! The shop is so welcoming and the process to book a tattoo is much simpler than other shops. I appreciate the trust in the customer and the simplicity of process. I have had a tattoo with Aylin in the past, and recently with Mikel. Even though my tattoos were small styled requests, the attention to the tattoo was top notch. I received some great restaurant recommendations from Mikel for the Island and checked them all out! Great group, great shop, 5 Stars.
